Fine art photography works.
The images selected in this gallery are created using the long exposure technique, every artwork is in some way a self-portrait. I don’t photograph anything unless I have become attentive to it, that’s because I carry a big chunk of it within myself. The unconscious mind generates metaphors and symbols and speaks through allegory. Every “subject” portrayed in these images emanates a presence - like a human body. As the famous artist, Pablo Picasso once said “Art is a lie that tells the truth”. With my work, I want to move away from the spectacle of drama and eye candy to create images with a presence - a meaning. I often end up referring to music, because music has an abstract way of storytelling, and you don’t just listen to music but you absorb it, the same way as absorbing the scene and become one with it because when we express our creativity, we become a conduit for the great Creator to explore, to express, and to expand its divine nature and our own.
